Planning - Sui Generis

Has anyone been contacted by their council planning dept. in the UK - advising that their AirBnB required Sui Generis change of use?

@Matthew1659 This is strange as the UK government is currently consulting on wether Airbnb's will need planning permission in the future. This surely suggests that they don't need planning permission today!

Do your listings have normal housing residential permission or are they Sui Generis? If the latter then the council might be right saying you need to apply for residential use.
