Pricing anomaly

Hi,

first post and new to AirBnB so it might be my fault but I'm not sure why.

I have nearly finished my listing and have set a price for every night for the next 12 months.

If I go in and try to book myself (or looking at the price calculator in the calendar), everything is fine and the nightly rates are as set on the calendar for most of the year.

However, for October I have set every night at £80 but if I try and book (or use the calculator), the first week is priced at £124 and the second £91 and after that they are £80 as expected. Blocking / unblocking and changing prices has no effect.

I have no different price settings covering that particular period.

Any ideas welcomed.

Thanks

Jon

Just checked October 2021 that is set to £80 a night and it doesn't have that problem. Could it be some kind of corruption in AirBnB database?

I just had a look and, like you, found all sorts of different pricing, until mid-October.

You could try going into your calendar and manually entering correct prices (even if each day says 80, try changing to a different price, save, then change back to 80) for the affected days, making sure to save each day as you enter it. If that doesn't work, you could contact CS, to see what they can do for you.

Thanks,

Have tried that.

Interestingly each night books as £80 on its own. Bookings of up to 6 nights stay at £80 a night. Its only when I try to book 7 nights or over that the pricing per night goes wrong.

I will try CS but reports about acessing them aren't very favourable.

Contacting them was easier than I was led to believe. They are escalating the problem so it doesn't seem to be me! 🙂

@Jon2712 Also make sure you haven't got Smart Pricing switched on.
