Providence, RI 02906 HOME INSURANCE advice

Hello :

I am a superhost. My Home Insurance Company wants to drop me bc I have an AirBnB. Can you give me the name of 

Home insurance that will support an Airbnb in Providence Please?  Owner occupied / Airbnb in part of the home.

Not familiar with Independent Agents in Providence, but here is one I found:

Wow Thank you so much for yopur response Joan! Too bad AirBnb doesn't tell us about the medium to high risk home insurance that will be required! No One told me this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes...sadly Aircover Host Damage Protection is NOT insurance (Washington State is the exception). Even Airbnb says that. It has so many loopholes, exclusions and conditions that make it pretty much worthless. I also recommend my clients obtain STR insurance on their own to protect their property.  

Airbnb's does have liability insurance, but the named policy holder is Airbnb of course, not the individual Host. Reports of very long, drawn out claims process and very negative experiences from Hosts reported.

Thanks again Joan for responding.  I never vrealized that AirCover would be difficult to use if you needed it or that I am not the policy holder of my Aircover. Scary.

The CC is worldwide with different common languages like English, French, etc.

To narrow a question down to a specific area, you can post it here, but it will be seen by Hosts all over in the English CC.

Better to ask in a local Host Club as the Club is limited to Hosts in that region/location.
