Hi! We will soon be new Airbnb hosts for a property in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are trying to make sense of the many permits/requirements we have been working on and could use some help figuring out how these match up to things that need to be included in our Airbnb profile and/or displayed at the property.
1. Business registration number in Airbnb - should this be our merchant registration number or PR Tourism Company room tax number?
2. What needs to be displayed physically at the property? The room tax certificate indicating the required 7% withholding? The San Juan STR permit?
3. Besides filing monthly room tax returns, annually renewing our permits, and annually filing business taxes (we purchased the property through an LLC we created), are there other ongoing compliance activities we should be tracking?
