❗[Réclamation AirCover] Refus injustifié – 7 articles de linge irrécupérables / 7 linen items destroyed

Hello everyone,

 

We recently submitted an AirCover claim after a guest severely damaged 7 linen items (duvet cover, bedsheets, towels, pillow protectors, etc.).
Even after 4 full washes, the items were left completely unusable.

Unfortunately, our claim was denied on the basis that AirCover no longer covers "stains" on household linens.

We want to stress that this was not normal usage or minor staining, but clear irreversible material damage caused by the guest.

We’re now unable to host new guests without replacing these essential items, and urgently need this claim reviewed.

Nous avons récemment déposé une demande AirCover après le départ d’un voyageur ayant gravement endommagé 7 articles de linge (housse de couette, draps, serviettes, protection d’oreiller, etc.).
Malgré 4 lavages complets, ces articles sont restés totalement inutilisables.

Malheureusement, notre demande a été refusée au motif qu’AirCover ne couvre plus les « taches » sur le linge de maison.

 

Nous insistons sur le fait qu’il ne s’agit pas de simples taches ou d’un usage normal, mais bien de détériorations matérielles irréversibles causées par un usage anormal du logement.

Nous ne pouvons pas accueillir les prochains voyageurs sans ces éléments essentiels, et avons besoin d’un remboursement rapide.

Maybe it's not good news for you, but most hosts will accept that the bedding and towels will get stained from time to time. It sounds like you had a particularly bad incident, but this doesn't usually happen so often that you'll lose significant money over time. It's best to replace these items and put it behind you.

I'd advise buying more than one identical set - you don't know which of the items will need to be replaced next, so it helps if they all match and you can just quickly grab what's necessary before the next guest arrives.

It was some bad luck for the linens with these guests, but the majority of guests generally don't cause damage.
