I want to echo the frustrations many others have shared about the Airbnb Photography Service. My experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

Initially, the photos I received were of poor quality, and I had to request edits. After that, half of my photos suddenly disappeared from my listing, leaving me with 50% missing images. When I reached out, the team initially responded and assured me that I shouldn’t worry—they promised the photos would be reuploaded soon.

However, it has now been three weeks, and I no longer believe them. Their communication has completely stopped, and I suspect they have lost my photos. Despite this, I’m still being billed for a service that has provided me with nothing but frustration.

As a host who has been loyal to Airbnb for years, I feel incredibly let down. The lack of accountability and support is unacceptable, and I would never recommend this service to anyone.

Has anyone else dealt with a similar issue, and were you able to resolve it? I’d really appreciate any advice.

@Handre12  Yes, unfortunately I did experience similar.  My issue was I was not able to download the images.  I forget why but I did bug them everyday until I got the photos which were not great.  

 

The same can happen when you hire a photographer that is not affiliated with Airbnb, some photographers  are better than others.  What you could do is look at listings in your area that have great photos and reach out to host and ask them to share their photographer name and number.

Thanks for the reply. I will never use this service again. The support requests gets auto closed before any resolution. I am sorry to say but the Airbnb photography team seems very incompetent. I have explained countless times that there are photos missing, but this message does not seem to get through to that team, and all they do is send me the link to my listing and then a few minutes later the support request gets closed. So incredibly frustrating. Not sure why this is so poorly managed but I hope other hosts read this and stop using this offer. It is NOT worth it, and makes me want to move over to another platform.
