I recently received a refund for a stay I had to leave part way through, which was agreed with the host.
I paid for the stay in part with a credit card and part with gift card/vouchers.
when I received the 75% refund it came through as gift card value and not back to my credit card. I’ve asked on multiple occasions for the refund to be made to my credit card, one of the original payment methods- but Airbnb support have so far refused to make this happen.
curious to know if any other guests have encountered this issue with Airbnb not adhering to their refund policy.
