I'm looking to start an Air n B. I'm not ready to rent out my house, but how can I rent out an apartment? I heard it was illegal, but I've seen several listings on this site. Where do I begin?

@Keesha9 do you own the apartment? If yes then check local ordinances to see if short term rental is legal or not.
