Reporting Airbnb Earnings to Unemployment in California

I'm located in California and was recently laid off and collecting unemployment. I host an Airbnb part-time at my home and I cannot get a straight answer as to if I am to report this income to EDD. At the end of the year, after expenses, I usually operate at a loss so I don't think it makes sense to report it since I barely break even on it. (It does help with utilities and other expenses,  so it's useful income!)

But I don't want to go to jail for unemployment fraud either!

I've tried to get through to someone at the unemployment office but I haven't had any luck, and even if I do get through I am not 100% convinced I will get a straight answer.

Any others in California who have already navigated this situation?

Thank you!

If your unemployment scheme is like ours, you need to declare ALL income.

What do you mean by saying you operate at a loss?
