Response to a private message from our guest is visible in our reviews

Hi

We had gotten a private message from a a guest and responded to it. My response is now visible in my reviews. How can i amend this and have it removed

You can not amend a respons to a review.

You can only ask Airbnb to remove it:

https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/32/responding-to-reviews

You replied to their public review not to a message @Roxanne158 @that's why it's showing up publicly

But it is the misperception of how Airbnb sends the private feedback from a guest.  It asks your to respond and not clearly show it's a public response to the review and not PRIVATE FEEDBACK.  It's wrong and Airbnb needs to correct this years-long issue.

The only response I see is a positive one that says “So glad you enjoyed yourselves…” if that’s the one you’re referring to it does not look bad if left up.
