Rule of 6

We live in a house and use an extension for the Airbnb. This has its own entrance and no shared spaces with us. With the new rule of 6, if we have 2 guests staying in the Airbnb do they count towards our household 6 or are they exempt as they are what the government call 'income generated accommodation'? For example, there are 2 of us and I invite 4 friends over but we have 2 guests staying. Is that ok? If anyone can direct me to guidance on this that would be great. Thanks

@Sonia1118 If you are totally self contained then you are probably ok. I only say probably because I am assuming the annex has not been made official through the council tax/business rates system. If it has then change probably to certainly.
