SEF Requirements Portugal

It is a legal requirement, here in Portugal, to register the attendance of guests with Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras. On requesting this information form some guests they queried this with AirBnb and were told, apparently, that this information was not necessary.

Someone is clearly mistaken and it is not me.

Anyone else had this problem
