I am trying to open 6 days in early May on the calendar but keep getting an error message saying it needs to be 30 day minimum . I searched everywhere and dont have a restriction on this. My friend said it couls be I need some sort of permit. Can anyone add some detailed insight to help? Many thanks!

I did a quick internet search for "Short Term Rentals San Diego" and yes, you do need a permit/license to operate a short term rental in San Diego.

You propably are not permitted to rent for less than 30days without a STR license.
