Hi everyone, looking to get started in this community and one of my worries is finding good cleaners to avoid nightmares... I'm seeking advice from current hosts and have a few questions:
1. About how much do you spend per month on cleaners
2. Where are you finding good cleaners who know how to clean Airbnb's (based on my research there's a difference between just a normal house cleaner and someone who knows how to handle Airbnb's but I could be wrong)
3. Is there any company out there that can access my property schedule and automatically schedule a cleaning when needed for a flat fee instead of a % of revenue?

Hi @Devin235 ,
Welcome to the community! Itโs great to see you taking the time to research and plan aheadโfinding reliable cleaners is such an important part of hosting, and itโs smart to get it right from the start.
Cleaning costs: It really depends on the size of your property, location, and the frequency of bookings.
Finding good cleaners and automation: You're rightโthereโs a big difference between a regular cleaner and someone familiar with Airbnb standards. One great tool I use is Soyhome *, a platform that connects host with experienced cleaners who specialize in short-term rentals. It also allows you to automate your cleaning tasksโcleaners can access your propertyโs schedule and automatically book cleanings based on availability. Itโs been a game-changer for me, as it streamlines both finding quality cleaners and managing schedules with ease.
Hopefully, that helps! Best of luck with your hosting journey!
Cheers,

Hope you enjoyed the weekend. Would you like me to tag members on your area?
Maybe they can give you some advice of companies near to you. ๐
Kind regards,

Great questions, Devin.. this is something every new host has to figure out early on.
Cleaning Costs: It really depends on property size and turnover frequency, but for a one-bedroom in Denver, expect around $80โ$120 per turnover, sometimes more if you include laundry. If you host multiple times a month, this can add up fast, but most hosts build cleaning fees directly into their Airbnb pricing.
Finding Quality Cleaners: You're absolutely right.. Airbnb cleanings are different. They require staging, attention to small details, and often tight turnover windows. Try looking in local Airbnb Facebook host groups, or Turno, which specialize in connecting hosts with short-term rental cleaners.
Automation: Yes! Turno integrates with Airbnb and automatically schedules cleaners after each checkout, syncing directly with your calendar. You can choose whether to pay flat per-cleaning rates or negotiate ongoing terms with cleaners directly.
Once you find someone reliable, treat them like gold.. they're one of the biggest factors in maintaining your Superhost status and great reviews.
