Short term rental license for a boat in Boston ma

I was wondering how you can get a Str number for a boat in Boston. I called inspectional services and they said they don’t do boats yet I see other hosts with boats in Boston that list str numbers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting hosts with boats in your area to ask them /posting your question in your local host forum @John6895 ?
