Spain - Non resident - registering with cl@ve

Hello all , I wonder if there are any non resident hosts who could help me finish my reporting procedure access.

i have my house registered with the interior ministry and am trying to register with cl@ve for my digital certificate. My NIE was issued in paper format in 2006 and do not have any support number. 

if there is anyone who has been through the process recently who could provide some information on what is the next steps to register with cl@ve successfully I would very much appreciate some advice.

Hi Alex , thank you for your reply. I’m not sure this would be helpful as this is for a non resident status , all Spainish nationals have a ID card with the relevant information on to completed the digital registration

If you own a house in Spain and are legally operating and declaring taxes, then surely you have hired a gestoria (?). I don't know how you could operate without one. 

We just asked our gestoria to sort it for us, and it was all arranged and set up within a day. Now we have our clave, and everything works. 

But I really don't know how that magic is performed. Ask your gestoria?

thank you for reply @Elaine701 , yes I have a Gestoria and the same one for 10 years ,  I have a  meeting on Tuesday, 

  Although magic is performed I specifically wanted to know how a non resident applies via the Cl@ve system successfully
