Hi, I'm about to book an apartment in Baltimore for work purposes. My organization is tax-exempt and based in Baltimore. Is it possible to submit our tax-exempt card?

Thank you, Patricia! I was able to get it worked out via their support team!
For others who may have the same question:
Yes, Airbnb does honor tax-exempt. You'll need to provide your tax-exempt document each time you book, as they do not keep it on file for your account. There was a lot of back and forth about this. lol
Hi @Barry500 😊,
Thank you for asking this question here!
Have you found this information yet?
I’m tagging a few experienced hosts to see what advice they can offer you: @Joan2709, @Joelle43 and @Patricia2526.
Thank you in advance!

I think yes, but the process isn’t fully automated through Airbnb’s platform. Before booking, reach out to Airbnb’s customer support to inquire about the process for applying your tax exemption. Provide them with your exemption certificate and any other required documentation.

How did you make the reservation? The taxes are included. Did support remove the taxes or were you reimbursed?
Hi Barry - did you need to do this prior to booking, or were you able to recoup and be refunded after booking?
