Tax information required

He anyone attempted to submit tax form or info Not through the normal channel? We have specific items to put on our form and have submitted it to Airbnb via mail and email. They received it but won’t update our account. Now we have no payments since Jan 1. Calls goto their “support” every 2 days. Never a call or email back. Help!!

Exempt and certain items we cannot agree are true in the certification so they must be crossed off. Only can do it on a paper.. not the electronic form that allows no changes.

Helen@744 I cannot see that you need anything from Airbnb. the only thing could be the tax they pay but that does not involve you in anyway . It is not taken from you. Your tax agent is the one to help with exemptions all of your income is listed. The money taken from the guest as your payment is taken before u receive your income so does not count as your income or a cost of doing business and airbnb pays company tax on that . money cannot be counted as income twice or taxed twice.Weird but true

Your income can be printed out but not uploaded as is . It is generally added to your other income after u have reduced it by deducting all of your costs . Better to get a tax agent to do this and fill out details of your costs before u visit H.
