Taxable Business Personal Property in SF

I'm registering  with San Francisco so that I can host short term stays. When registering the business with the city, do I need to claim that I have  "Taxable Business Personal Property" in San Francisco?

Since you are starting up a business, you really need to get an attorney and a tax accountant. I have both and they have really helped me out! There are things I would not have known if I did not hire them. Good Luck!

Hi @Michele1328 , for new businesses in San Francisco related to Business Personal Property, you might find this link useful https://www.sfassessor.org/property-information/business-owners/new-business-owners

In San Francisco, it appears that for any sizable assets used for your business, such as large furniture, equipment, etc... you will need to assess the value and pay an annual property tax. Definitely check with your accountant for the specifics. Your accountant should be aware of any specific tax codes related to San Francisco and California in general.
