All hosts should be aware that Airbnb will do everything to avoid paying for damage incurred by guests to their property. The insurance claims made by Airbnb are designed to give hosts a false sense of security. Airbnb will not pay. This insurance offer is a pack of lies made by an organization with no ethical foundation. Be very careful! Hosts beware!

It’s better than nothing lol

It’s a huge burden to collect and then provide vendor estimates to them and it’s another heart attack to get the discounted payout, and it’s the indeed most non transparent process you would experience in any business.

however, it’s still better than nothing.

As mentioned by @Mar125 and @Doreen147, can you tell us a bit more about what's happened, please?

We have a wealth of experienced Hosts here on the Community Center and I'm sure they could support and advise if they had a bit more understanding about what's gone wrong.
