Unexpected Event

My guest checked in yesterday, and I observed that the person in the profile picture appeared much younger. It turns out the booking was made by the son for his parents, which is fine with me.

Last night, my neighbor informed me about a significant gathering and fire trucks nearby, causing me concern and panic. Upon calling the Airbnb contact number, the son explained that his father had a stroke. While he assured me his father is recovering, should I report this to Airbnb? I’m just so glad the wife was home and was able to get him help asap

@Mahlet2 as you said - The son booking for his parents is fine by you so why would you want/need to report to Airbnb?

I guess not

Hi @Mahlet2 ! I hope the young guest's father is recovering well!

How did you decide to deal with this unexpected situation in the end? Did you happen to inform Airbnb Customer Support team on what happened?

Do keep us posted on how it is going with this booking!

Most people don't accept third party bookings which are against Airbnb's T&C. @Mahlet2

why would someone having a stroke mean a 'significant' gathering and fire trucks

in most countries it means a single ambulance

in your situation I would get down there
