Waiting time for NYC registration approval

Hi NYC Hosts,

Curious what was everyones wait time to get a registration number with NYC?  I submitted my application since June 24, 2023 and have not heard back from the city on my application status.  Any one with issues? and if, not what was the turnaround time?

Hi @Lulu119  - I applied on August 11th and received approval on November 14th. - unfortunately all applications are held up in bureaucracy's usual bottle necking... but eventually you will hear word. I also know another host in Brooklyn and he was approved before me. He had given me similar advice and I was skeptical, but then I got my approval. HOLD FAITH!

The question should be “Has ANYONE in this community gotten their NYC registration number?” I don’t think during all these months that I’ve seen anyone say they got it, so I’m starting to think no.

I submitted my application in November, got the certificate 3 months later in Jan, but then since I didn't have a listing, I still can't make my listing public, until OSE reviews the listing - which I've been waiting for them to do for 1 month. I don't get this system, what's the point even of getting a certificate if you still can't make your AirBnb listing public, even when you do have a certificate?

I applied 5-6 weeks ago and haven’t heard back from the city.
