Washington DC area- bookings down from last year??

Hello,

 I am a host that had a lot of rentals last summer. However, It’s almost May now and I’m getting very few requests to book.  Are people not traveling as much? Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about this?

It the same for a lot of hosts.  The market has become saturated and anecdotally as I have no proof some disillusioned guests are using multiple platforms to bash Airbnb causing some guests to find alternatives.  But don't give up it could change.  Last night I stayed at a hotel.  My sleep was disturbed by someone playing loud music.  That would never happen at my Airbnb.
