I do not receive assistance in this matter, they sent me WU funds via an incorrect name despite having modified BEFORE the payout was processed, support reassured me that the funds will be sent correctly BEFORE the payout was sent
I now request them to cancel the transfer so that funds come back to Airbnb but no response was received, as we all know, Western works like that, only the sender (AIRBNB) can make such request
Another option is waiting the 90 days for Western Union to reimburse back to the sender
Has anyone received assistance after the 90 days have passed and the payout has expired? I feel scammed, customer support gives no solution or time frame

Hello @Breanna i have exactly the same problem: I have contacted Airbnb at least 3 times and they keep saying the funds are with your bank. I keep telling them western union is not my bank :-)they don’t seem to know what to do when funds are sent with the incorrect name. Please help !!
