Where do I name my promotion

It says to name my promotion and my discount but I can't figure out where to do that at. Do I just put it on my main page? Hi @Jolene92 ,

To name and set up your promotion on Airbnb, follow these steps:

1. Access Your Listing's Calendar:

   • Log in to your Airbnb account.
   • Navigate to your hosting dashboard.
   • Click on the listing you wish to promote.
   • Open the calendar for that listing.

2. Navigate to Pricing Settings:

   • Within the calendar view, locate and click on the Settings icon.
   • Select Pricing from the dropdown menu.

3. Create a Custom Promotion:

   • In the Pricing section, click on Promotions.
   • Choose Custom promotion.
   • Select the dates you want the promotion to apply to and click Next.
   • Set your desired discount percentage.
   • Provide a name for your promotion to help you identify it later.
   • Click Apply promotion to activate it.

I'm with @Joan2709 here, I really don't know of any way to name an Airbnb promotion. I find that the AI answers to posts often generate incorrect results - in this case the steps produced in the answer are mostly correct, but it's not true that there's an option to name a promotion.

As far as I am aware, there is no place on the Airbnb Custom Promotions to name it. You choose the dates and the amount of discount only:

Create a custom promotion on desktop

1. Click Calendar and select the listing calendar you want to change
2. Click Pricing, then click Promotions
3. Click Custom promotion
4. Select dates on the calendar and click Next
5. Set your discount and click Apply promotion

Some Hosts use a 3rd party channel manager software attached to their listing that may allow naming the promotion. The only other way to "name" a discount on Airbnb is by turning on Pro Tools and using a Rule Set. However, only the Host sees the "name" of the discount, not the guest.
