Why i didnt have any booking as a host the summer of 2024

Hello My name Is Ioanneta i'm from Greece.

This year was my first in Airbnb and i would love to ask the question why i didn't had any booking from Airbnb platform 
(From other platforms i had)
Does anyone has same experience? what i can do to improve my Bookings for the upcoming summer 2025?

If you had bookings from other platforms, they would block your Airbnb calendar for those dates. When a guest searches on Airbnb for specific dates and those dates are blocked by another calendar's bookings, your listing will not even appear in search results on Airbnb. Generally, most Hosts will discover they may do better on one specific platform vs another for this reason. This is because the algorithm thinks you don't have availability (dates blocked by another platform's reservations) and/or your listing is not "popular" and therefore moves way down in search results. This means guests will not even see your listing to book it.

I usually suggest Hosts start on Airbnb first. Then wait until they get at least 5 reservations or 3-6months. Then add the listing to other platforms. This maximizes the "New" boost Airbnb gives to new listings for the first 4wks or so. Having your calendar only open May-October also lowers where you appear in search results on Airbnb. This is because the algorithm takes into account "Availability" when determining where you appear in search results to guests.
