Wifi water meter or water monitoring system

Hi,

I'm in need of a wifi-internet capable outdoor water meter that I can install in our property water pipe so I can monitor the water usage remotely.  Does anyone have experience with such a need or perhaps have found the equipment or a supplier that could assist?

Hello @Scott-and-Sharon0 from across the ocean in Auckland, New Zealand, is the water meter usage because of concerns with lack of water and water restrictions in the area?

If so, have you considered a mention in your listing that there are these issues and for people to respect them?

Most people are understanding of these things these days with so much in the media about Water savings.

I'm sure they exist commercially,. You could probably google it. 

My husband is a hardware/software engineer and created our own, specifically to monitor it, because we have our own well, and it's important to be able to monitor the water tank and the guest usage to ensure there's always sufficient supply. 

But surely there are off the shelf devices for this? Google is your friend in this case.
