booking confirmation and payment process

I have just joined the Airbnb community by hosting and have just confirmed my first booking. When I take a look at the booking confirmation and scroll down to pricing and payments it states "Guest Paid" followed by the price. Does this mean Airbnb have already started the payment process with the guest?

@Mark3921 Yes. Airbnb collect all (or sometimes half) of the money at the time the guest books and, if half, the rest at a later date. Your payout will be released to you the day after the guest checks in and should be in your account about 4 or 5 days later.
