Hello im a new host. I dont understand what the dots on the callendar mean ?
I dont know how to mark a pre-booking so that another guest cant book that date ?
I would like some advice please

Do you mean these dots, like next to the 18 here?
They indicate a public holiday in your region.
If you want to keep a date open, just click the date on the calendar. You can then change it from Available to Blocked. If you want to open it up again, click it again change it from Blocked to Available.

You made me curious so went onto my calendar and indeed you're right these dots indicate a public holiday but then I noticed that I had some dates with those same dots that aren't public holidays and have a dot because I have added a note to these dates😊 Would be good if we had a choice of coloured dots to differentiate the two...
Just an FYI...for some reason Airbnb doesn't use the dots to indicate a US National holiday on the calendar - wish they would. The dot only means the Host has added a note to the date.
@Joan2709 so strange! Mine are public holidays and notes, like @Joelle43 and @Joanna926 in Europe. I agree that a different colour or shape to distinguish them would be nice.
