cohost template for BC, Canada

Hello my fellow hosts!

I'm  located in BC, Canada and planning to embark on a cohost journey soon.

I would like to request if anyone has a cohost template I can kindly refer to please. Also does it have to be run by a real estate lawyer to ensure it covers all the laws etc. in the province that I'm in?

Thanks in advance

Ayesha

Hi @Ayesha46 😊

Thank you for asking this here.

What kind of template are you looking for?
Would you mind specifying it a bit more so our hosts will be able to help you?

@Ayesha46 I am not sure mine would apply since it focused around the Laws here in Texas. You will need something that will hold up in court in Canada, not the US.

Thanks

Joe

When I wanted to develop a contract for my cohosting business ,  I drafted the terms I wanted and took them to a local solicitor who reviewed them and made sure they were legally robust .

you could do something similar with a local lawyer @Ayesha46

Hello Helen !

Thanks for your reply. Yes ive those in place and would definitely bring it to the lawyer.

But just wanted to see if you had a template I could use.

Thanks

I'm based in the UK so my contract wouldn't be relevant .

just put together the terms you want for your cohosting business and take it to a local lawyer @Ayesha46

Thank you! Yeah thats what i figured.

@Ayesha46 I think what ever route you go down you will need to validate it with a lawyer first:

Options: Get lawyer to draft it.

Option 2: Get chatgtp to draft it based on asking it to interview you then get a lawyer to validate it

Option 3: There are some online that you can buy. And then get a lawyer to validate it.

I did option 2 and is working out ok.

Ryan
