just joined and airbnb have applied a discount without asking or informing me ...whats that about 

also it says Fridays aren't a day you can start your stay - its the opposite - its the dy you need to start - how do I change that ?

You have the 20% discount for new listings activated (see "promotions" on the calender)

You have set Fridays (en Mondays) as not available for check-in

@Paul8123  There are many settings turned on by default when you first list, the 20% new listing discount being on of them, Instant Book being another. It's important to go through all your settings to make sure all is as you want it. 

Also many hosts have found their settings "mysteriously" having changed on their own, so it's good to check them on a regular basis.
