Hi @Rachel2515 ! Welcome!

Sometimes it takes up to 48 hours for a listing to appear in searches. Below is the URL for your listing:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/939938929373726960?source_impression_id=p3_1689892828_foDYDRjau3adLNYl

Your listing is missing quite a bit of important information and protections for you as a host. I would use this time to update/add all this information before guests can book. I would turn OFF instant book until you can get everything updated so someone doesn't book before you add all the additional information:

Airbnb automatically defaults some of your settings after you publish. You may wish to change these settings before accepting guests. Some defaulted settings include:

  • Instant Book is ON – (you may not want this)
  • Calendar open 12 months – (I would change this)

I suggest as soon as you hit "publish", immediately go to your Calendar Availability and select "unavailable by default". This blocks your calendar to prevent guests from booking until you have a chance to edit your listing and add important information. After you are satisfied with your listing, you can change your calendar availability and open up dates for bookings. I would suggest a new host should not have instant book on at first. This allows you to screen guests before accepting reservations and get comfortable with the process.

Wishing you much success!

Hello @Rachel2515

Outstanding advice from @Joan2709 yet again and you should know that your listing is now live and anyone can book.  It doesn't look like you have seen Joan's message but I'm hoping that you will act on it immediately so that you do not fall short of some nasty first time host errors that Joan has tried to spare you.

Pause your listing during the time it takes you to make the necessary corrections to avoid receiving a booking today!

All the best

Joëlle
