new 13% charge by Canadian government

I would like to talk about the new 13% taxes the Canadian government is stealing from bnb travelers who are booking with hosts that don't make over $30,000/year.  I'm sure this new charge for travelers has a negative effect on small business.

What can be done about this?  I've already let my MP know but they can't do anything about it!

@Sylvia675  how much tax do travellers pay on accommodation when the provider takes in more than $30000 in revenue?

Is it your personal belief that all taxation is "theft," even on luxuries such as travel?

You should talk to your tax accountant who can explain the Income Tax Legislation.  And dont forget there is the Ontario Staycation Tac Credit in Ontario of up to $1,000, that offsets the GST/HST costs that the guests pay.
