Hi everyone, I have just got my first guest! but no money is in the bank, how does this work, after I approved their booking dont they automatically get asked to pay? they have been here one night but no money is in my account, I'm not sure if I am supposed to request it or not.

@Debbie-And-Laurie0  I would strongly suggest that you read all the Help articles for hosts on the Airbnb site. It's important that you inform yourself of how everything works- how hosts get paid is one of the most basic things to be aware of and all that info is readily available on the main site.

New hosts often have to wait 30 days to get paid for their first guest. After that, payments are supposed to be released 24 hours after check-in, but it can then take several days to show up in your bank account, paypal, or whatever payout method you use.
