"CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE" to cover liability/harm to occupants- guests:

Hello all, I am a newbie, my listing is in the 'CITY OF HOLLYWOOD, FL.  I am in the process of getting the Hollywood Vacation Rental license, and the application requires a ("CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE" to cover liability/harm to occupants- guests).    I am aware of the "AIRCOVER" AIRBNB has in place, however; they do offer a copy of a cerficate for me to include in the application.  Have any of you had this issue here in the City of Hollywood?  can anyone share any light so I can continue forward with my "Vacation Rental license application?  Thanks.   My listing is 'UNLISTED' at the moment.  If anyone has any info please email me at:  **.    Thank you all

Good question ~

If your requirements are in any way similar to ours, what is needed is a business insurance policy. Homeowners does not cover this. Any time money is involved, it gets complicated and a business insurance policy is part of getting legal/permitted. Do check with the city, to make sure what is required.

Thank you for this info, I will look into it Monday directly with the City.  Meanwhile I will  research for a  “Business Insurance Policy!  Your response is greatly appreciated! Thanks again, stay safe
