town fees in Ocean Gate, NJ

I love Airbnb & it's been a pleasure hosting guests over the past several years.  Ocean Gate has decided to discourage rentals this year and implimented a substantial increase in fees - going from $75.00 per year to $500.00.  I'm curious to know what other hosts are doing with regard to fees and if other hosts in Ocean Gate would like to get together & discuss this - maybe as a group we could make a difference.

Have you tried looking for some local groups here?

The Community Center is international so it's sometimes easier to find area-specific help on one of the groups.
