10 Day Booking- $400 a night but only $3000 payout

Hi everyone,

I'm a new AirBnb host and we just had out first booking.

The nightly rate was set to $400 however the booking we received was for $300 a night 10 nights.

We have accepted the reservation and I have only just realized our rate was $400 not $300.

Why would AirBnb have allowed a booking at $300 a night. We do offer a weekly discount but not this substantial.

I can't find a number or email address to contact anyone at AirBnb to enquire...

Hi,

The price on your listing "ZU CASA" is CAD 400,- a night

Your weekly discount is set to 25%, so the booking is correct.

No need to call Airbnb, you are responsible for your price settings, including setting of discounts.

Check the ‘details’ of the booking; it will show you the original listed-price ($400) — your generous 25% weekly discount resulted in the $300 booking.

You can adjust this in your listing settings for the future 🙂 happy hosting!

25% is a bit high for a weekly discount.

Hello @Meghan40,

Lovely to meet you.

It sounds like we have got to the bottom of this here, I just wanted to check if you have seen the responses above and if this is all sorted now?

Thanks,

Lizzie
