Can a 17 year old book on Airbnb I’m assuming they have to be 18

I am not sure that Air BNB has a requirement about being 18, even though conventional wisdom would think so and many posts have declared it to be.  @Mike-And-Stella0  Probably because this is a world wide booking platform, there is only the non-discrimination policy which addresses age.
