Thanks Harry for those tips...really helpful and simple to follow..I'm a newbie as a host (always a guest in someone's flat) and it's quite exciting. I got my 1st booking confirmation last Monday (yessss!!)
Looking forward to further inputs within the community to boost bookings

Great work Harry!!! Thanks for these tips, I started as a host in April 2017 but I did not know all that I know right now and it was a hard begining. In the moment that I completed as much as possible my profile and became active in my listing I started to receive inquiries and IB. There is a long way ahead and a lot to do, but knowing these tools is much easier. Thanks!!!!!

Wow....what a great list of tips. Thanks for taking the time to post that for newbies like myself. My goal is to support my other creative work through our two Airbnb rentals, so it's serious business.
I'm just wondering is it really work for promoting airbnb list on google ads or Facebook? Will its boost the listing on first page?
Thank you for the tips it's very details and formative.
That's how Google ads work, they will randomly present your add in the front page, depending on the budget and settings you will pick.
In my experience, a very quick (and non professional) campaign I set up, with most of the keywords preselected by Google, achieved a CTR higher than 7%. Which I think is consider very successful.
Its really up to you to see if it's worth it, you can start with a small budget and sew how it goes. Make sure to get a 75-100$ free adwords coupon, there are plenty out there.
Let us know how it went :)
