I got asked for a review on a guest I didn't host.  I wrote a review to try to not hurt someone unnecessarily but should have just skipped it.  If a guest cancels, why would I be asked to post a review?

@Teri23 this is strange... are you sure he officially canceled? And those days were reopen on your calendar?

If a guest cancels through the site and has status as cancelled in "Your Reservations" you should not be prompted to leave a review.

A no-show where the guest never arrived and you get paid for the stay, the system will not recongize this as a cancellation and a prompt to review will follow.

In the latter case, you could just write that the guest never showed up. No big deal. You have a similar review to your own profile reading "Must have had a change of plans".

I just had the same thing happen last week, I haven't left review yet, will I be penalised (stars etc)?
