A guest cancelled, but stayed anyway...but then JUST came to pick up his bags

hi there

if is anyone who can give me an idea...!?!?!?
a guest cancelled, because he could not get hold of us as we were abroad. we had a friend stay in all day waiting for him, but he didn t turn up...when we had internet we saw that he cancelled, but still came a few hours later to stay...for 1 night {even if he booked the room for 2 nights}.

today he s turned up saying he was NOT happy with us and he has found alternative accommodation for tonight.

what should we do ??

Why was he trying to get hold of you, did he have all the check in details?
