The short time I've been hosting, mostly it's been a nightmare as I have shared space. However, last night, the man smacked my dog. I left him a note saying to not let the dog out and we needed to talk when before he departed for the day. He left early and didn't bother to wake me. I want this man out of my home. He has completely interrupted my space in many ways and while awake he hasn't shut his mouth once. BUT the fact that he smacked my dog is NOT ok with me.
How do I get him out. He left without saying anything. Took the keys, left his stuff here.
Call AirBnB and tell them he assaulted your dog and ask them to cancel the booking. You can also call the police for animal abuse if you like. When AirBnB cancels the booking, you can call the police to have him removed.
He left without a fight. I just put his stuff outside (safe neighborhood) on the patio. He returned to get it.
Thank you for the help. It came late as I couldn’t even stand the thought of having his stuff in my place. So it did go outside
BIG THANKS!
@Carrie220 Call airbnb immediately and tell them this guest has harmed your dog...offer whatever proof you have to substantiate this, and tell them you want him out ASAP. If they don't help you, call the police to have him removed for harming your pet.
It goes without saying that this person should not under any circumstances be left alone with your dog again.
