A person only booked for one person, and we found two people leaving the next morning

When she was leaving we told her we would have to charge her for the extra person, so she said book the extra charge through Airbnb, so I did that and then got notification that she had cancelled her booking.

how do I get the extra money back?

i can't even give her a bad review as she's cancelled

I am not sure how she was able to cancel a booking when she already stayed.

 

I hope you followed up your conversation with her on Airbnb so there is a record.

 

In your situation I would call Airbnb and explain what happened. And ask them to follow up with the guest on the extra person charge.

 

Her cancelling the booking shouldn't make any difference.

 

Make sure you leave an honest review.
