A potential guest (young single male) with no reviews is asking for our exact address. Suggestions?

We are starting out as hosts tomorrow and today I received an inquiry from a single male with no reviews, just a phone and email. He asked twice for our exact address. I gave him a nearby cross-street and that didn't satisfy him. I'm wary. Suggestions?

You can simply tell him Airbnb does not allow hosts to disclose their address prior to a confirmed booking.  If that's not to his liking, he can look elsewhere.  Always protect yourself!

Thanks very much. I'm very reluctant to book him in any case with zero reviews along with his fairly suspicious request. As much as I'd like a booking I don't want sketchy guests, especially since we live on the property.

Hi @Curt-And-Gail0

I wouldn't use no reviews as a basis for turning down guests, most of my guests don't have any.

However if they keep asking for your exact address prior to booking, when you have explained it's against BNB 's rules then I would turn them down.
