Accepted a guest BEFORE we setup our payment method - Will we get paid???

Ok, surely I admit that this is indeed my fault, not AirBNB, and not the guest's.
Nevertheless, hundreds of dollars are at stake, and I fear I may not get payment. 😕

My wife and I recently found out about AirBNB. We used it to book a stay in Toronto for a night. We had a great time, and were amazed with the experience, and the value.
We then became interested in being a host ourselves.
So we hurried up, listed our room, and BOOM - a guest inquired way sooner than we had imagined. Well, we reviewed their profile, volleyed a few messages, and decided to approve her.

Great, excellent, win-win for both parties........except one small detail - We forgot to put in a payment-receiving option!

So here we are, day 2 into hosting our guest [for an entire month], and we have not yet received payment... 😕
We did indeed add it in after-the-fact, and we did indeed receive the $0.01 verification, but we have not yet received the $450 in funds for the actual listing....

It's been less than the 5-day window AirBNB says could be the timeframe for our bank account to be verified, but indeed we received that $0.01 over 24 hours ago.
The 'Transaction' tab doesn't specify anything about the payment for our guests' current stay.

Should we expect Air-BNB to automatically transfer the funds in a few days after everything is verified through their systems, or did we shoot ourselves in the foot by listing and booking our room before we even had a payment method verified???? Should we explain the situation to our guest, and ask her if she indeed was charged and if not if she could possibly pay us cash instead??? Weird, and I'd prefer not to, but I honestly don't see Any indication that we'll be receiving payment otherwise.....

Help!

in the reservation you have to see a phone number for call to airbnb talk to them and they will confirm you what is the issue. transactions to bank can happen around till 1 week, paypal is 24 hs after the check in very quickly, maybe you should try paypal? buy anyway call airbnb asap. dont say to the guest about it and dont take cash from them. first talk to airbnb 🙂 let us know the outcome. Happy hosting!!!

I don't see any phone number to directly contact AirBNB in the reservation confirmation email (or others).
I only see links that direct me to this community answerboard.

Am I missing something?

How difficult to cast out our money from PayPal, do you know??? Is there any fee from PayPal to transfer that to our bank account? do you know where can I check about it ?.. that anyone has a phone number Airbnb in the US?

You should get an email approx 24 hours after your guest has checked in to say your payment is being processed. The time taken to process will depend on the payment method you have selected, the day of the week, etc..

So you may still get the email if they only checked in yesterday.

Oh....your guest has already paid, so please don't ask them to pay a second time. You can see this clearly by going to your Reservations list which will show you how much they have paid.

Don't worry, your money is not lost...
