My guests notified me that there was a small leak from rain at my condo unit. I notified our HOA as they are responsible for roof, and my guest is trying to insist they do work over the weekend.
This is my first hosted stay, and I guess I feel at a loss. How would you explain that the scheduling is out of your control in a diplomatic way?

@Andrea5454 The guest is being unreasonable. I suggest you explain to him that the HOA will only get people in during the working week and that if this is not acceptable you will have to jointly approach Airbnb for a neutral cancelation and refund of his remaining stay.
