Hi guys,
I have a glass wall over the kitchen worktable that covers the wall from oil, greesy things and so on.
A few days ago I had a guest checking in, before the same day I was in the apartment and didnt see that the glass wall was cracked, so it happened during the last guest stayed there.
The gust tho, said they recognized it in the middle of the stay.
How can I proceed with this? What if it was a minor crack somewhere on the glass since before, and just accidently broke during their stay? Or maybe they did crack it, but I wont know for sure.
Any advice?
Thanks
Replace it, nothing much else to do.
You have to have proof that a spefiic guest did the damage before you can make a claim against that guest. Things break and get damaged as part of renting out property so your income should always allow for some of that cost. Perhaps this time replace it with a non-breakable alternative if possible so that it lasts longer.
