Yesterday, I received a booking but my account was on snooze, now I have someone staying in my home when I was not prepared to host anymore. My last guest took all the joy out of hosting and I put my place on snooze to hopefully give myself time to get back into it. Can someone tell me how this happened now I have to host someone when I was taking a break from this service.
Hi Kirsten - just checked and your listing is not on snooze. Perhaps there is a bug... I would contact AirBnB and ask them to cancel the booking for you and take the break you need. In the meantime, do what other people do to make sure they don;t get bookings, which is to increase your nightly rate to something astronomical! Puts people off booking for sure - until at least AirBnB can understand what has happened.
I had the same issue. Put listing on snooze and had two instant books. Canceled them without realizing there is a penalty. Contacted customer service. I was using the mobile app to make changes to my listing. When I make changes using mobile app it doesn't seem to save changes. Customer service representative said he doesn't recommend using app but to use google chrome is using a mobile device. I had to type this message 3 times because I'm using my phone and it won't let me make corrections. Annoying. It has to be the site.
