Adding/deleting new photos - newbie geek problem

seriously demented newby freaking out ... again   -      I know photos - I know resolution - I know !!!!! but when I go to add new photos that are the correct resolution/size/and in marked folder that I used to upload original pics - I can access all my old photos  but NOT the ones I took today!!!! It just does not make sense. What am I doing wrong???

it may be your new photos are saved as png or gif and your old photos as jpg or vice versa .... when you access your file then in your down right corner of your window you will have a drop down , click on "all files"

I am having serious problems uploading photos.  Even though I am trying to upload the CORRECT size (1024x683px or higher), I continue to get a "this photo is too small" message.  ARGHGH!!!!  Help!
