I find it so weird that I need to share my problem here right before the end of the year.
There are two recent adjustments suddenly appearing in my transaction history. In my opinion, this must be a mistake or a bug, since Airbnb deducted 2 times the same payment amount from one single booking which was completed in 2019. The guest checked-in, checked out and completed his staying without any problem. I was hoping they can resolve this problem quickly since it looks so obvious to me. All the information is there.
I contacted Airbnb last week and was told that they have forwarded my request to the specialist and someone will contact me within 5 business days.
Yesterday I contacted Airbnb again to ask since no one has contacted me. And the Airbnb Supporter from yesterday said, he was forwarding my question to someone in his team and I would be contacted, and that I should feel free to keep commenting and sending questions in the same chat. However, he just dissappeared after that, but keeps the threat open, so I can't contact Airbnb again because I have asked about this once. I wrote him some more questions but it was just me writing since he replied nothing more.
I don't know when someone will contact me, but honestly, we haven't had many guests and we need the payments to pay the costs. And they suddenly deducted a big old payment 2 times from our current payments of December 2020. I am really shocked.
If anyone has experienced this, please let me know how I can fasten this waiting process.
